Yes, the Carbon composition. Middle carbon composition make the steel better physical property. 235 means the yield strength is more or less 235Mpa.
The reason is the carbon composition is very suitable for welding, drilling, zinc coated and hot pressed in machines.
Atanis has many different mould in the machine. The normal and popular size is 1meter*1meter and 1.22meter*1.22meter(4feet*4feet). When make 1*1meter tank panel, we need to prepare the 1.2meter width steel coil; if we make 1.22meter*1.22meter tank panel, we need to prepare the 1.35meter width steel coil. That means all width of the raw material should be 0.15meter larger than the tank panel at least. About the thickness of the steel coil, we use 1.5mm-2mm as the tank roof, use 5mm as the bottom and wall panels. 5mm thickness is the currently max thickness.
Most carbon steel is easy to rust if there is not any coating. Q235 steel is same. We put the rusted panels in a pickling bath to clean the surface rust and then put them in a galvanized bath to zinc coated on the surface. After zinc coated again and again, the surface zinc thickness can arrive to 0.2mm thickness. That means the hot dipped galvanized steel will have a good anti-rust. Even for sea water. it can be used for very long time.
